I clean commercial windows for a living but have run into a problem. The building that I am working on has tinted windows and they are streaking and have hard water stains. How and what would you use on these windows to clean them without streaking them?Submited by:ocean12684

I have talked to 5 different window companies and they want to take the glass and framing out, use the same window frame but put in regular windows that slide up and down. Currently there are two stationary windows and 2 crank out windows. I think it would look goofy if they do it that way.

Because the storm windows are on the outside and closed, I can’t access the painted side of the window. Is there another way to open the window without having to remove the storm windows in order to get to the edges that i need to cut.

Calking around the window has already been done. This strip is the part that is actually attached to the window.

I put on the Bestop soft top protectant product and it didnt say on the bottle that it was bad to get on the windows, so now I have spots all over my vinyl windows and they wont come off. I’ve tried vinegar, lemon juice, toothpaste, and even Bestop Vinyl window cleaner.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
